Pinakakasuhan ng National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) sa Department of Justice (DOJ) ang nasa 12 opisyal at contractors ng Genesis88 Construction na sumelyo umano ng P7B flood control contracts sa distrito ni Davao City 1st District Rep. Pulong Duterte.
Ayon kay NBI Director Atty. Melvin Matibag, inirekumenda nila ang posibleng paglabag sa Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act sa mga hindi na tinukoy na indibidwal.
Nakabatay aniya ito sa nasuri ng bureau na apat mula sa 47 flood control projects na inendorso ng Department of Public Works and Highways.
Una nang sinabi ni Matibag na matagal nang kaibigan ng Pamilya Duterte si Glenn Escandor, may-ari ng Genesis88. Nag-donate umano si Escandor ng P19.92M sa kandidatura ni VP Sara Duterte noong 2022 elections. | ulat ni Aj Ignacio
