Kinilala sa isang makasaysayang seremonya si Commodore Norsal Diampuan Dimaporo, PN bilang bagong talagang The Naval Internal Auditor (TNIA) ng Philippine Navy sa Change of Chief of Office sa BNS, Grandstand MBRB, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City.
Sa kanyang naging mensahe, naging emosyonal si Dimaporo sa pagtanggap ng kanyang bagong gaganapang responsibilidad, “This is a testament to how far we have come in our pursuit of unity in diversity, extending equal opportunities to all, regardless of race, color, background, and belief.”
“This is true peace — we break barriers, build trust among communities and create society where differences are not seen as divisions, but as enriching forces that strengthen our collective future- a strong, stable and peaceful Philippines.”
Sa araw mismo ng kanyang pagkatalaga ay lumabas din ang kanyang promosyon bilang Commodore (O-7) o may katumbas ng 1-Star General na siyang mas naging espesyal sa araw na iyon sa kauna-unahang Muslim Bangsamoro Commodore ng bansa, “On behalf of the people of Lanao, the Bangsamoro, and my family, I express our heartfelt gratitude for your trust and confidence in me. Through your support, and by the grace of Allah, we remain hopeful that, In Shā’ Allāh, the Bangsamoro people will one day witness the realization of a long-cherished dream — to have the first-ever Bangsamoro Commodore in the history of the Armed Forces of the Philippines.”
Matatandaan si Dimaporo bilang kauna-unahang Bangsamoro mula sa tribong Maranao at Naval Officer din na naitalaga bilang hepe ng Armed Forces of the Philippines-Peace and Development Office (AFPPDO) ng apat na taon at nagsilbing Senior Military Adviser ng Government of the Philippines Negotiating Panel sa pakikipag-usap sa iba’t ibang Peace-Inclined Armed Groups (PIAGs).
Bukod sa natatanging profile ni Dimaporo, lingid sa kaalaman ng publiko na siya ay naging valedictorian ng Master in National Security Administration (MNSA Regular Class 53). Kabilang pa sa mga natapos ng bagong TNIA ay Bachelor of Laws (LLB), Master in Public Management na may espesyalisasyon sa Development and Security sa Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP), Senior Officer Security Studies Course sa Navy Center Cornwall, Ontario, Canada, General Staff Course sa Malaysian Armed Forces Staff College at Diploma sa Strategy and Defense Studies sa University of Malaya, Malaysia.
Bukod dito, isa siyang ipinagmamalaking miyembro ng Philippine Military Academy (PMA) Bantay Laya Class of 1994.
