Hinihikayat ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. ang Filipino innovators na ipagpatuloy ang pag-develop ng mga solusyong tutugon sa mga hamon ng makabagong panahon.
Kabilang na ang usapin sa food insecurity, flooding, soil erosion, at energy shortages.
Sabi ng Pangulo, ang Filipino innovators ay dapat na mabigyan ng sapat na oportunidad upang ma-develop ang kanilang mga ideya, at maging mga praktikal na solusyon, na kayang makalikha ng makabuluhag pagbabago sa buhay ng mga Pilipino.
Ang pamahalaan aniya, patuloy na nakasuporta sa mga innovators upang maisakatuparan ang kanilang mga ideya, at maikonekta sila sa mga investors at stakeholders.
“To every innovator across the country: I know that you have come a long way to reach this point. I also know that there is still much to do to turn your ideas into solutions that can improve the lives of our people, our communities, and our nation. I call on each of you to work with the government in addressing modern challenges—from food insecurity and flooding to soil erosion and energy shortages,” — Pangulong Marcos.
Binigyang-diin ni Pangulong Marcos na ang inobasyon ang sentro ng national development ng kaniyang administrasyon, at kinikilala ito sa ilalim ng Philippine Development Plan 2023–2028, bilang key driver ng economic transformation, productivity, at competitiveness ng bansa.
