Pinakakasuhan na ng National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) sa Department of Justice (DOJ) ang 12 opisyal at contractors ng Genesis88 Construction na sumelyo umano ng ₱7 billion flood control contracts sa distrito ni Davao City 1st District Representative Pulong Duterte.
Ayon kay NBI Director, Atty. Melvin Matibag, inirekomenda nila ang posibleng paglabag sa Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act sa nasabing contractors.
Nakabatay umano ito sa nasuri ng NBI na apat mula sa 47 flood control projects na inendorso ng Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).
Una nang sinabi ni Matibag na matagal nang kaibigan ng pamilya Duterte si Glenn Escandor, may-ari ng Genesis88.
Nag-donate umano si Escandor ng ₱19.92M sa kandidatura ni VP Sara Duterte noong 2022 elections.
